Do you make me get rid of everything, live a minimalist lifestyle and make me feel judged?

Everyone is unique and everyone’s circumstances differ, I offer grace and honesty and in no way judge your circumstances or your abilities. You’re house is not the worse I’ve ever seen, I absolutely promise you!!  Everyone has the potential to learn, grow and be transformed! So no I don’t make you get rid of everything or pressure you to live a minimalist lifestyle. I do challenge you to assess your needs, particularly if you have excess but I always offer grace and hope!

Do you help me get rid of all unwanted items?

I do take all that I can to local charities when I leave so that your pre-loved things find new homes. I can also organise charities to come and collect your pre-loved things if there is a lot!. (You might have a backlog of rubbish bags/recycling that can take weeks to unload into bins, but that’s means we’ve dealt with so much and it’s no longer cluttering up your home ?)

Can you give me an accurate estimate of how long my space will take to declutter?

I can offer a rough estimate if you accurately describe the current state and your desired state of the space you are wanting to work on. The time it takes to declutter and re-organise a space is dependant on so many factors; How quickly you can process your stuff, how much stuff is ACTUALLY in the space you wish to declutter, where we decide to re-house things if you decide you’d like to keep things but they don’t belong in the space we are decluttering etc. As you can see there are a few factors that determine the length of a job and as much as I try to give you a rough estimate, it can be difficult to be completely accurate. What I can promise you is that I work hard and give you my attention and expertise 100% of the time I am with you and will work as quickly as I can without rushing you unnecessarily through the process. I come into your space ready and willing to train you in the transformative Art of Order so that your house will Feel Like Home and my desire is to leave you with the knowledge, tools, tips and tricks to keep you moving forward not stuck in your overwhelm. (As a rough guide though, we can always make a significant difference to a space in a 3hr session, for instance, a pantry or wardrobe) If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Do you provide confidentiality?

Yes, you can be assured of your privacy and complete confidentiality with everything that you share with me. I do not have signage on my car so none of your neighbours will know you are receiving help from me but there is no shame in getting help!  My aim is to form a caring friendship with all of my clients because I truly feel honoured every time a client invites me into their home. I will not share photos of your home on Facebook or on this website without your permission and I make sure your home or reviews cannot be identified unless you are happy to share your success. Be assured that my success is due to your success. I am always inspired by the adaptability and courage of my clients and the only reason I share their successes on the internet is to inspire and motivate others! Do I have to be involved?

Yes! It is not only your home that needs transformation but also your habits. I empower you to make decisions about what should stay in your home and what items should be moved on to another home (given to charities) or thrown out. I wish that transformation was as easy as waving a magic wand but we all know that life changes and life changing habits can be challenging but are worth the training it takes to get there! Do I have to clean up before you come?

No! Please don’t and please don’t be embarrassed by the state of your home, I promise I have seen worse! It is great for me to get a clear idea of how your home normally looks, this helps me to train you and give appropriate tips and tricks for maintaining the end result. I am here to help you make your house Feel Like Home. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Will one session be enough?

Potentially! My aim with every client is to provide the best service and training and give you tips and tricks for maintaining your new space. Some spaces, like pantries and some wardrobes, can take a 3 hour session and you will be surprised just how much we can get done! Other spaces will take longer or your whole house may be overwhelming you and therefore cannot be done in just one session. Contact me with an accurate description of the space you’d like decluttered and your dream for that space and lets talk! I am here to help you make your house Feel Like Home. 

What locations do you service?

I live in the Hills District of Sydney and most of my current clients also live in the Hills. I am happy to travel to anywhere in Sydney, however as I can only work within the school times, it might restrict our time together. What are your availability?

In 2016, while I still have one of my precious ones still at home with me, I work on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays 9:30-2pm and on weekends by request. I am available for Virtual Training during these times as well as from 7:30pm -10pm (EST).
